Since its founding in 1998, Vegas Valley Fire Protection (VVFP) has combined core competencies with stellar customer relations for a level of service and performance that is unmatched in the Southern Nevada Region. VVFP is a one-stop full-service fire protection business (Nevada licensed automatic sprinkler system contractor #0052989) with an emphasis on NICET-certified engineering, AFSA Foreman-ship Trained professional installation and NICET/AFSA Certified service and repair of automatic fire sprinkler systems. VVFP has broad knowledge in the design and installation of fire safety sprinkler solutions for a variety of commercial applications including but not limited to; institutional, commercial, retail, industrial, office and medical structures.

Vegas Valley Fire Protection maintains an unlimited contract bid license amount with the Nevada State License Board. From tenant improvements to industrial complexes, no fire protection system is too small or too large for the qualified team at Vegas Valley Fire Protection.

Team Members

Shane Murphy

President

With more than 37 years in the fire protection field, Shane has led VVFP from what began as a modest fire sprinkler design business to the Nevada Region’s most comprehensive fire protection organization it is today.

Murphy holds a Degree in Architectural Design Technology, is a NICET Level IV Senior Engineering Technician (NICET#97142), and holds Nevada G and J Card Licenses. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, American Fire Sprinkler Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.

Cory Clark

Vice President Sales

Cory has worked in the fire protection industry for over 16 years and has been a part of the VVFP organization since 2013. Cory holds a NICET Level III Water Based Systems Layout Certification and is a National Fire Protection Association and American Fire Sprinkler Association member. Cory spearheads the company’s client relations, estimating, and sales activities.

Jason Moore

Vice President Engineering

Jason has worked in the fire protection industry for over 21 years. He holds Nevada G and B Card Licenses as is a NICET Level III Water Based Systems Layout Certified Engineering Technician. Jason oversees the company’s engineering department, contributes to VVFP’s employee development programs, and provides project management oversight in the company’s day-to-day operations.

Richie Nelson

Construction Manager

Richie has been a part of the VVFP organization since 2007 and has over 19 years working in the fire protection industry. He holds Nevada G, I, and J Card Licenses and manages VVFP’s New Construction Project Division.

Andrew Beyer

Tenant Improvement Manager/Special Projects

With over 19 years of fire protection industry experience, Andrew manages VVFP’s Tenant Improvement Division. He holds a Nevada G Card License, an Aerial Equipment Operation Certificate, and an OSHA 30 Certificate. Andrew has contributed to the VVFP organization since 2017, working as an Installation Foreman and Service Technician in previous roles.

Matt Crelly

Service Manager

Matt has been a part of the VVFP organization since 2006 and has over 18 years of experience in the fire protection industry. He holds Nevada G, B, and F Card Licenses and is Certified in Backflow Prevention. Matt manages the Service and Maintenance Division at VVFP.

Matt Davis

Preconstruction Manager

Matt has been a part of the VVFP organization since 2010 and possesses over 20 years of fire protection industry experience. He holds a Nevada G Card License and is responsible for pre-construction details such as; general planning, site progress, trade organization, equipment needs, start date monitoring, and more. His support ensures VVFIRE projects have the eyes and ears it needs to stay one step ahead of critical preliminary planning, project start dates, and installation timelines.

Rick Nelson

Purchasing Agent

A fire protection industry veteran, Rick has amassed over 40 years of experience listing, stocking, organizing and purchasing anything and everything fire protection-related. From keeping our warehouse organized to facilitating material deliveries, Rick has his finger on the unlimited number of moving parts and pieces needed to make our fire suppression system installs successful. Rick has contributed to the VVFIRE Organization since 2004.

Gibrann Eguiza

Designer

Gibrann has over 5 years of fire suppression industry experience and has worked for VVFIRE since 2018. Gibrann holds a G Card License and performs sprinkler design, engineering, and material stock listing duties on VVFIRE projects.

Josh Mann

Designer

Josh has worked for VVFIRE for over 3 1/2 years. He holds a Private Hydrant Certification and performs sprinkler design and engineering, material stock listing, and obtains AHJ permit approvals for VVFIRE projects.

Robert Riley

Safety Officer Coordinator

Robert has contributed to the VVFP organization since 2015. He has over 16 years of experience working in new fire suppression systems and repair roles, leading him to his current role as Safety Officer Coordinator. Robert holds an OSHA Safety 30 Certificate and devotes his days to managing VVFP job site safety logs and organizing ongoing training programs for preventative safety protocols in VVFP’s field operations.

Karen Diorio

Accounting Manager

With over 30 years of experience working in the fire protection industry, Karen’s a veteran with the waivers, billing procedures, certifications, general liability practices, workman’s compensation policies and contractor’s licensing requirements unique to our industry.

Traci Weeks

Project Coordinator

Traci joined the VVFP organization in 2015 as an Administrative Assistant. With years of exposure to each division’s unique set of project requirements, this was a perfect parlay for her role as Project Coordinator. Traci executes new project paperwork and tracking, manages construction billing, and executes lien waivers to ensure projects maintain an impeccable paperwork trail.

Cheyenne Dunn

Service Coordinator

Cheyenne joined the VVFP organization in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. In 2020 she advanced into coordination, accounting, and administrative duties specific to VVFIRE’s ever-growing Service and Maintenance Division.
